• Progressive
  Progressive metal stamping is the process of creating metal parts by using multiple metal stamping techniques on a continuous progressively fed sheet or strip of metal. The methods are applied in a series of progressive steps to create the final product. Each step in the stamping process creates a new set of features on the piece of metal. The final manufacturing step is normally a cutoff or cut-apart station that removes a completed part from the carrier strip.
• Transfer
  Transfer process metal stamping also creates metal parts by using multiple stamping techniques on a single piece of metal. In this method, the pieces are blanked before the sequential operations. The pieces are then moved from die station to die station with each portion of the process being completed by a different die. This type of process can be done by transferring by hand or can be done transferring mechanically.
• Line Dies
  These are hand transfer stampings performed in single set-ups rather than side by side set up.
